Rembrandt Foods wanted to increase its brand awareness and market share in domestic and international egg markets. As a first step, they turned to Ackmann & Dickenson to design and develop a new website. Requirements at the top of their list included a responsive interface, optimized user experience, image-centric design, and focus on job opportunities. The client also hoped site visitors would actively engage with and consume more content.
A&D’s digital marketing team completed a comprehensive research and discovery phase to inform strategies for increasing organic search traffic and site engagement. A new sitemap was crafted to streamline navigation, while the UX/UI design highlighted the beautiful imagery and great content. Additionally, A&D built a custom WordPress Content Management System (CMS) to enable the client to easily update site content as new products emerged.
The updated web property features an intuitive and fully responsive user experience that differentiates Rembrandt Foods from the competition. With the implementation of Google Analytics tracking on PDF downloads, newsletter sign-ups, and contact form submissions, A&D helped Rembrant Foods improve visibility on the ROI of marketing initiatives. Additional tracking on featured marketing areas and calls to action allow Rembrandt Foods to see which messages resonate best with their target audience. Since site launch, organic search traffic has increased by more than 40% and average pages viewed per visit nearly doubled.
