Drew Johnson

Drew Johnson has been a software engineer since 7th grade when he made a program in Excel to keep track of his fantasy baseball team. He’s always loved building things, from legos as a kid to web applications in Ruby on Rails as a bigger kid. After living abroad in England post-college, Drew worked with Thomson Reuters as a developer for eight years and now shows off his skills at A&D for speedy and clean code (without actually showing off—he’s quite nice, in fact).

Drew gets woken up every morning by his three kids, who love him loudly with his wife in St. Paul. It’s probably related that he recently finally learned to drink coffee. If that wasn’t charming enough, Drew spent many years as a youth mentor and even helped the mentoring company get started as their first employee, working as an IT/Marketing intern. He hopes to “raise happy and healthy kids and someday spend two weeks by the ocean without them.”
