Challenge:

Outsell approached the team at Ackmann & Dickenson, Inc. (A&D) to partner with them on the development of their new web property. Responsive design technology was identified as a key component to the new site, as well as a content management system. In addition, A&D’s Internet Marketing Team was brought in to enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts.

Approach:

A&D engaged Outsell’s key web team members in an iterative manner. User Interface (UI) best practices were recommended and iterated upon. Design frames were then immediately leveraged allowing Outsell’s marketing team to react, respond and provide instant feedback. Based on provided feedback, A&D’s team implemented responsive web design technology enabling the site to respond to a user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. The designs were revised for a 320px / 768px wide view. The approach consisted of a mix of flexible grids, layouts and images along with a strategic use of CSS media queries.

Outcome:

Outsell’s newly designed content management system now employs fully responsive design technology and contains enhanced SEO strategies and tactics within the new web property.
