Challenge:
A&D was tasked with developing a non-native mobile application that would enhance the overall attendee experience at the 2011 Restaurant Finance & Development Conference. The application needed to accommodate Blackberry, Android, iPhone and Tablets.
Approach:
As with the 2011 NIGA app, our Team implemented universal web technologies to replicate the native app experience without constraining it to one mobile operating system. Mobile Application features included a conference schedule, sponsor list, mobile ads sponsored by participating vendors and the ability to connect and network with other conference attendees. The application also contained analytics in order to track user activity and provide comprehensive analytical reporting.
Outcome:
In a span of only 2 days at The Wynn in Las Vegas, the application was downloaded by 600 unique users and used nearly 10,000 times by Blackberry, Android, iPhone and Tablet devices.
